Highbury Media (Pty) Ltd is SA’s largest independent magazine and digital publishing company responsible for some of the country’s best-performing titles. We are currently looking for a Digital Sports Copy Editing Intern for our Editorial department.

The successful candidate will be exposed to:

-Correcting spelling, grammatical and factual errors.

-Ensuring appropriate style and tone is used (using style guide).

-Liaising with writers when required

-Avoiding repetition, tautology, inconsistencies, and contradictions

-Helping to maintain the editorial standard of excellence

Requirements:

-Thorough knowledge of sports

-Work well under pressure

-Deadline driven
