Highbury Media is a large independent magazine publishing company who is seeking to appoint Digital Sports Copy Editing Intern to join its experienced team of copy editors within a dynamic sports editorial team. 

The successful applicant will be a copy editing intern on Highbury Media’sports websites sarugbymag.co.za, sacricketmag.com, sportsclub.co.za, compleatgolfer.com, fourfourtwo.co.za and sascoc.co.za.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

– Correcting spelling, grammatical and factual errors.

– Ensuring appropriate style (using style guide).

– Liaising with writers when required.

The successful applicant must have a good grasp of the English language and attention to detail:

-Thorough knowledge of sports

-Work well under pressure

-Deadline driven
