Position Summary:

Daddy's Deals: We are South Africa’s leading savings site, based out in Cape Town, with presence across the country. We are currently going through a website revamp, where we aim to continue delivering amazing memories and incredible exclusive savings locally as well as internationally. In light of that, our team continues to grow exponentially. We looking to appoint a Lead Generation Specialist


Role purpose:

Lead gen specialist is the key role in driving our company sales as the role is the first point of contact with the merchant in discussing a potential deal to be offered on our website. First impression matters! One is to be very proactive in generating leads, leveraging all internal & external channels/databases to reach out to relevant merchants and secure a meeting for the sales team.


Key accountabilities:

• Identification of potential merchants AND contacting them, creating leads for the sales team

• Leads are generated through various channels, split per industry, online research, leveraging existing leads, feedback from account managers etc.

• Verification/identification of relevant ‘merchant’ decision-maker to include in the lead discussion.

• Understanding of what could potentially work on the relevant DD platforms

• Managing sales funnels and understanding the targets required for each specified business area.

• Tracking and reporting of sales leads through CRM



• Outbound sales experience

• Strong digital skills i.e., working with CRM / communication platforms.

• Ability to adopt/learn about new technologies.

• Expected continuous extensive research into merchant and service offering whilst understanding the DD business model / customer profile.
