Highbury Media (Pty) Ltd is an independent magazine and digital publishing company responsible for some of the best performing titles. We are currently looking for an Credit Controller for our finance department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

-Maintaining healthy age analysis and ensuring the debtors book is kept current

-Excel reconciliation of accounts and report back to clients on regular intervals wrt account status.

-Continuous follow ups and housekeeping on outstanding amounts owed by debtors

-Daily receipting of debtor payments in accordance with client remittances

-Speedy query resolution with clients and internal staff 

-Keep sufficient written record of all client correspondence, queries, remittances etc.

-Weekly reporting on internal queries

-Particular focus on overdue debtors – including legal handovers and reconciliations 

Requirements: 

-7-10 years’ experience

-Excellent written and verbal communication skill

-Managing of collections

-Payment and reconciliations

-Negotiation of settlement agreements

-Improvements on all aspects of collections

-Building and maintaining relationships with clients

-Resolving of queries

-Dealing with high volumes
