Ramsay Media has been dedicated to market leading, special interest publishing since 1933. We are seeking a Marketing Intern to join our company for a 6-month Internship. If you are an extrovert with a passion for marketing and a flare for the creative, we want to hear from you.

The successful incumbent will be exposed to the following:

·        Assisting circulation manager

·        Administrative duties within the department

·        Identify sales opportunities, approach leads for bulk sales and subscriptions and update leads database

·        Required to brainstorm ideas and briefs for trade exchange offers

·        Resolve subscriber queries and issues

·        Manage monthly bulk orders and subscriptions

·        Supervise promoters at activation events by briefing; motivating and monitoring the performance of promoters, assist team in selling single/bulk copies and subscriptions

·        Managing and sourcing the promotional gifts stock

·        Handle event inquiries by supplying marketing material or magazines

·        Merchandising (store visits, checking which retail stores in which locations are selling our magazines and shelf positions)

You will be working flexi hours and will need the following requirements:

·        Relevant qualification

·        Willing to learn and develop within the department

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·        Organised and deadline driven

·        Innovative and creative

·        Good customer service skills

·        Proficient in MS Office

·        Drivers license will be an advantage

·        Willing to travel for events and merchandising

·        Good communication and writing skills
