Highbury Media is seeking to appoint a junior designer. Candidates with magazine design and visual production experience are preferable. Kindly note this position is based in Cape Town

Key duties include:

-Design innovation and visual research

-Image sourcing/creation relevant to brief/story

-Compile interpret briefs

-Attention to detail in designs

-Assisting digital platforms and solutions

-Design and/or assist in all other forms of promotional material for the magazine i.e. mock-ups, rate cards, exhibition stands, supplements etc.

Requirements: 

-Relevant diploma/degree in graphic design

-Knowledge of Adobe CS5 applications and Mac OS

-Creative thinking

-Meticulous

-Self-management

-Teamwork
