Key accountability:
● Key focus is the generation of new business leads via telephone.
● Supplemented by contacting old merchants via phone to rekindle a relationship and secure a potential new deal.
● Customer retention
● Managing sales funnels and understanding the targets required for each specific business area.
● Tracking and reporting of sales leads through CRM.
● Local Sales. Everything ranging from food & drink, experiences, accommodation, wellness & spa, entertainment, and services will be your portfolio.
● You’ll use your skill as a “cold caller“ to sell our services to current and new merchants.
Requirements:
● Cold calling, building relationships, and getting them to sign a potential deal.
● Extensive research into merchants and service offering whilst understanding the DD business model/customer profile
● Strong digital skills i.e., working with CRM / communication platforms. Ability to adapt/learn about new technology.
● Problem-solving, negotiating prices and getting the best possible deal.
Personal Attributes:
● Experience in cold calling with excellent telephone technique and listening skills
● Strong command of the English language (advantageous if you are able to converse in additional South African languages)
● Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
