We are seeking a Journalism Intern to join our Getaway title.
If you have an adventurous spirit and interest in travel, the great outdoors, photography and creative writing,this might be the perfect introduction to travel photojournalism.

The successful incumbent will be exposed to the following:

• Travel journalism
• Photography
• Fact checking
• Copy Editing
• Brainstorming and pitching original content for all brand platforms
• Product reviews
• Online content creation
• Editorial admin work

Requirements:

• A tertiary qualification in English and/or Journalism with an understanding of the Getaway brand
• Proactive and self-disciplined
• Willingness to learn
• An active imagination and adventurous spirit
• An interest in travel, travel writing and photography
• Excellent writing and organisational skills
• Able to work under deadline pressure
• Work experience in the media industry would be an advantage
