Highbury Media (Pty) Ltd is an independent magazine and digital publishing company responsible for some of the best performing titles. We are currently looking for a junior writer for our editorial department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

-Providing well researched, balanced articles of all types suitable for the business titles

-Maintain a strong emphasis on checking facts

-Show willingness to develop writing skills

-Assist with fact-checking of articles

-Assist with distribution lists and other editorial tasks

-Display initiative

-Show an ability to work unsupervised 

-Develop sources and information networks in a professional manner

-Keep abreast of current affairs and business trends

Requirements:

-Ability to work accurately and professionally under pressure

-Very good English grammar and spelling skills

-Willingness to learn

-Proactive and self-disciplined

-A good team player
