Highbury Media (Pty) Ltd is an independent magazine and digital publishing company responsible for some of the best performing titles. We are currently looking for a mid-way designer for our design department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

-Design innovation and visual research.

-Magazine layout.

-Image sourcing/creation relevant to brief/story.

-Compile/interpret briefs.

-Help manage publication and projects, working within budget and scheduling requirements.

-Work within a team of designers to develop design solutions.

-Do basic image retouching.

Requirements:

-Three to five years of relevant experience

-Acrobat

-Knowledge of Adobe CS applications (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Mac OS)

-Knowledge of printing
