Highbury Media is a large independent magazine publishing company who is seeking to appoint a sports social media intern to join its experienced and dynamic sports team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

-Work with sports editors, writers, and digital media manager to ensure stories are shared on social media platforms.

-Tweet live updates from various sporting events.

-Help manage social media campaigns and schedules.

-Ensure all content produced and sourced is engaging, reader-friendly and of a high standard.

Requirements:

-An interest in and good knowledge of sport.

-The ability to write short, clear, concise, error-free copy in English.

-A good working knowledge of social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

-Good time management and organisational skills.

-A willingness to work on weekends (when most sport takes place) and during the evenings.

-The candidate is required to have a reliable smartphone and laptop/computer.
