Highbury Media (Pty) Ltd is an independent magazine and digital publishing company responsible for some of the best performing titles. We are currently looking for an ad traffic intern for our production department.

The successful candidate will be exposed to: 

-Assist production director and ad traffic controllers with all production related tasks

-Communicate with clients telephonically

-Getting all cover Epson’s signed off 

-Ensure black books are ready with all adverts placed in the correct slot according to flat plan

-Photocopying flat plans and making sure the correct sales manager and ad traffic controller has their copies

-Prepare/ open new files for upcoming editions.

-Prepare Top sheets

Requirements:

-Organised, deadline driven and effective time management skills

-Ability to multitask

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Attention to detail

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Willing to learn and develop within the department

-Eloquent with clients and within the company at all times

-Technically savvy
