Highbury Media (Pty) Ltd is SA’s largest independent magazine and digital publishing company responsible for some of the country’s best-performing titles. We are currently looking for a Design Intern for our Design department.

The successful candidate will be exposed to:

-Design innovation and visual research

-Image sourcing/creation relevant to brief/story

-Assist in all design tasks, including printing wall presentations, client mock-ups, ordering images, creating PDFs etc.

-Digital platforms and solutions

-Design and/or assist in all other forms of promotional material for the magazine i.e. mock-ups, rate cards, exhibition stands, supplements, etc.

Requirements

-InDesign

-Photoshop

-Acrobat

-Knowledge of printing

-Technical skills related to design and printing

-Have tertiary qualification in design
