| Position Summary: | Highbury Media (Pty) Ltd T/A Habari Media is a media powerhouse, whose world-class titles connect brands to targeted audiences.
We are seeking a sports intern to work on the CompleatGolfer.com and SACricketmag.com websites.
Key responsibilities:
• Post newswire and press release stories on the websites
• Source YouTube, X, Facebook and Instagram videos, and embed them in website posts
• Share/schedule website posts on Facebook pages when required
• Post photos, cartoons, graphics etc on social media accounts, when required
Requirements:
• A passion for golf and cricket digital and social media
• A good knowledge of golf and cricket, including technical aspects of the game
• Ability to work accurately and professionally under pressure
• Very good English grammar and spelling skills
• A willingness to work outside office hours (including weekends)
• A willingness to learn
• Computer literate
• Proactive and self-disciplined
• A good team player
• A relevant degree or diploma in journalism would be advantageous, but is not required |
