Ramsay Media (Pty) Ltd is SA's largest independent magazine and digital publishing company responsible for some of the country's best-performing titles. We are currently looking for an editorial intern for our Getaway Magazine.

The successful candidate will be exposed to:

• Generating story ideas daily
• Assist with fact-checking of stories
• Assist with editorial tasks
• Keeping abreast of current affairs
• Manage social media channels when necessary
• Attends events when required

Requirements: 

• Tertiary qualification in English and/or journalism
• Proficiency in Photoshop, WordPress CMS and a Mac operating system
• Excellent writing, copy-editing and organisational skills
• Able to work accurately under deadline pressure and willing to work overtime when necessary
• Work experience in the media industry is an advantage
