We are seeking an editorial intern based in Cape Town, currently unemployed, and looking to gain workplace experience to join our dynamic Food & Home editorial team.
The role focuses primarily on digital content but may also involve work across print platforms depending on the publication.
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Generate story ideas
- Write and/or assist with articles across relevant content pillars
- Assist with fact-checking and general editorial support
- Support editors with day-to-day editorial tasks
- Stay up to date with current affairs and industry trends
- Assist with social media content creation and management
- Attend events when required and produce related content
- Assist with administrative and content scheduling tasks where relevant
