VIDEOGRAPHY INTERN
Are you filled with passion and enthusiasm for content creation and videography? We are searching for a skilled videographer to join our creative team. The work is exciting and varied, we are looking for someone who can easily adapt to different brands and produce high-quality video content for our digital platforms.
You will be responsible for growing our social media pages with weekly video uploads across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok. Experience in social media page management will be to your advantage, we are looking for someone who understands the latest video trends and the ability to monetize content to its fullest. One shall be working closely with the brand editors who drive the brand’s content strategy, to ensure balanced video representation across all brand’s channels, web/mobile web, social media, 3rd party.
Location: Hybrid working (Pinelands, Cape Town)
Duration: 12 months
Key skills and experience:
- Basic filming ability, being able to use DSLR/ mirrorless cameras. Having your own personal camera will be an added bonus. You may have to film certain videos on your mobile device as well
- Basics in video editing, being able to use Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro as well as edit on mobile apps such as Capcut
- You will be required to repurpose and edit video footage from editorial teams
- Assisting videographers on shoots, filming a second angle/ monitoring sound
- Coming up with trendy video ideas for Instagram/ tiktok
- Transferring and submitting videos to head of videography & editorial teams
- Working under pressure, same day deadlines on occasion
- Knowledge of local and international Rugby and Premiere League Football required
