We are seeking an experienced Technical Operations Manager to lead and oversee the seamless operation of our technology systems, collaborate with various teams, and ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will play a vital role in optimizing our technology infrastructure, supporting development efforts, and facilitating effective communication among cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with development teams, project managers, designers, and other departments to ensure the efficient deployment and operation of technology systems.
- Lead efforts to maintain the reliability, performance, and security of our technology infrastructure.
- Monitor system health and performance, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact project deadlines.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for cross-functional teams, providing guidance and assistance in resolving technical challenges.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure project timelines are met and technical requirements are aligned with business goals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing among teams to optimize technology operations and project execution.
- Collaborate with the CTO to define and implement technology strategies that support the organization's objectives.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies and tools that enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present regular reports to the CTO, highlighting technology operations, challenges, and recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a technical leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing technology operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with technology infrastructure, software development processes, writing code and project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Experience in implementing and optimizing technology processes and workflows.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
