Highbury Media (Pty) Ltd is an independent magazine and digital publishing company responsible for some of the best-performing titles. We are currently looking for a UX Designer for our Digital department.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Demonstrate sound knowledge of UX design methodologies, techniques, and tools, works to evolve website for improved customer journey.
• Working collaboratively to problem-solve and incorporate best practices and recommendations from insights to ensure a methodical and organized management of design projects end-to-end
• Solid commercial web design experience, which includes the use of eCommerce platforms and CMS systems
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, Liquid, Javascript, web standards, and best practice
• Experience in mobile design and device optimization
• Create a visual presence for eCommerce platforms: homepage, landing pages, digital marketing, social media, banners, mobile
• Analysis and report on site performance and design changes
• The role will combine great design skills with creative conceptual thinking, along with commercial awareness.
• Accountable for developing and executing a cohesive and customer-centric A/B and MVT testing strategy
• Ensure that user journeys across mobile and desktop products are mobile-first
• Execute ideas with relevant design, wire-framing, and mock-up technologies and workflows
